We were truly blessed to be able to share this last weekend @ Grace Covenant A/G in Hurst, Texas at their Missions Convention. We were treated royally by the pastors and Missions Committee. We also were able to renew acquaintances with the former pastors/missionaries Terry & Naomi Tipps and reminisce of times spent together in Cuba and Spain. Thank you for your very generous offering for our missions ministry in Spain and for all the love you shared! We enjoyed the wonderful spirit in your church. May God richly bless you as we continue to work together in the Kingdom in the interest of lost souls.

BARCELONA CHURCH Crosses cultural barriers with English
We are proud of our daughter Ruthie and son-in-law Brian Gómez as they pastor the International Church of Barcelona. Their church was featured on CBN’s Christian World News on January 27th, 2012.
BARCELONA, Spain — Spreading Christianity in Europe can be tough since many people there have a very negative view of the church.
But in Barcelona, Spain, missionaries are using the English language and new outreach to reach residents.
Spain’s second-largest city is a cultural mecca, drawing students and visitors from all over the world. And what many of them have in common is the English language.
This is what brings Christians from various nations together at the International Church of Barcelona.
Americans Brian and Ruthie Gomez are assistant pastors at the church. Congregants have described the atmosphere as a “taste of heaven.”

Missions Convention in the new Texas-Louisiana Hispanic District
e to send them. Offerings for missions far exceeded the goals. All of us missionaries were greatly blessed by the hospitality, generosity, and love shared by our host churches. Enhorabuena Texas-Louisiana Hispanic, Louisiana Section for a terrific job carried out with excellence!
“Mi Esperanza” a Success!
Thank you for praying for the evangelistic effort “Mi Esperanza” (My Hope) in Spain the 15,16,17 december. Half hour TV programs were broadcast at 9:30 p.m. with dynamic testmonies from soccer stars & music artists to little known professionals all sharing how Jesus is their “hope”. The majority of the 3,000 evangelical churches in Spain cooperated with this effort. The key is, instead of gathering thousands in stadiums, thousands of homes belonging to these churches invited friends & neighbors to watch the programs together and afterwards discussed what was shared. The objective was to present Jesus as “The Hope” for a world in crisis. www.miesperanza.es
AGWM Missions Itinerary
The Assemblies of God World Missions is a faith based missionary effort with every missionary responsible for raising his/her own financial backing among the churches and individuals who will trust God to support their ministry. The
Missions headquarters serves as a central clearing house for offerings and donations which are sent to the individual missionary’s account. From this account come all of the expenses of the ministry as well as personal living expenses.
Every missionary’s living expense budget is determined by an independent organization which establishes the official Cost-of-Living index for foreign personnel living in countries and cities abroad. This serves as a guarantee that 1) the missionary’s personal budget is equitable and 2) that there is accountability for every dollar which given for the cause of Missions. Once every 5 years the foreign missionary returns to his/her home district to visit the churches in order to have personal contact with their supporters, give a report of the mission carried out, and to raise more financial support both in cash and pledges of monthly offerings.
