    The Assemblies of God USA

The Assemblies of God is people who believe in the God of the Bible, and believe He is moving in today's world. Over 30 million people worship every week in Assemblies of God churches around the world.

Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with 60 million adherants (includes U.S. 2,863,265). But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs. People who need help in coming to know God, have problems in their home, or are troubled by any of a multitude of other things that keep people from being happy and fulfilled, need someone who cares.

And that's the message of our Fellowship. Because Jesus cares for people, the Assemblies of God is people who care about each other.

The Assemblies of God is a member of four national and international Christian organizations. These include the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), the Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA), the Pentecostal World Conference (PWC), and the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF). The church's leadership also participates in many sub-groups of these organizations.

The Assemblies of God is not affiliated with either the World Council of Churches or the National Council of Churches

Assemblies of God World Missions represents a growing family of more than 4,091 people — 2,051 appointed missionaries, 640 missionary associates and 1,400 missionary children — scattered throughout 212 countries and territories. These dedicated men and women, along with their children, are taking the gospel to cities, urban areas and remote villages, telling a lost world that Christ loves them and came to redeem them from their sins. Together they work with more than 303,000 national pastors in six geographical regions — Africa, Asia Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and Northern Asia.

A word that accurately describes Assemblies of God World Missions today is “unprecedented.” The worldwide Fellowship now numbers more than 57 million members and adherents with more than 295,000 churches and preaching points. The doors of opportunity to preach the gospel of Christ also are unprecedented as missionaries and national believers minister to those who have never heard.
