The Assemblies of God USA
Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination. But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs. People who need help in coming to know God, have problems in their home, or are troubled by any of a multitude of other things that keep people from being happy and fulfilled, need someone who cares.
And that’s the message of our Fellowship. Because Jesus cares for people, the Assemblies of God is people who care about each other.
The Assemblies of God is a member of four national and international Christian organizations. These include the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), the Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA), the Pentecostal World Fellowship (PWF), and the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF). The church’s leadership also participates in many sub-groups of these organizations.
AGWM
That’s why we minister in a Spirit-led and synergistic way in 248 countries and territories of our world. We all share the goal Jesus put forth in Matthew 16:18, “to build the church of Jesus Christ.” That’s why we have more than 370,000 churches in our network worldwide. Our missionaries are committed to train people in discipleship to the highest level of academic excellence. That’s why we have more than 1,000 training entities around the world. And we are committed to touch the poor and suffering with the compassion of Jesus. It’s why we reach out to those in the slums, brothels, ghettos, and work with the orphans, the sick, and the broken, in the spirit of Luke 4:18, “preach to the poor, proclaim freedom to prisoners, recovery of sight to the blind and release the oppressed.”
We ask you to join with us in obeying the Great Commission. We have room for called, passionate and qualified individuals and families We have room for more intercessors and supporters in prayer. We have room for those with a heart to see the lost won to Christ, churches planted, leaders trained and the poor and suffering helped through compassion ministries.
